St. John of Damascus teaches that anger can be overcome by goodwill and love for others. He emphasizes the importance of practicing virtues to defeat anger and cultivate a peaceful heart.

During the period of time, leading to Pascha and Easter, it is good for one to look into the foundation of what creates our expressions of anger?

Intolerance?

For this writer, there is a great deal of frustration with the intolerance of honor, morals, respect, ethics and manners in personal and professional conduct and attitudes within, and with others.
